Description An unusual amusing bronze of three monkeys playing in a band, one plays a Shamisen ( a Japanese guitar like instrument) one plays a drum and another shakes a rattle and sings. On a carved wood base, the standing monkey is attached to the base with bolts, the two seated monkeys are not attached.

Signed to base. Height of standing monkey not including base is 25cm

The bronze has been lightly polished with renaissance wax to protect and enhance the patina.
