Description A very fine silver kankodori (Cock on a drum) silver koro decorated with enamel flowers.
According to legend an O-Daiko drum was placed to the gate of a village, to be sounded as a warning if there was ever an attack, but years past and the drum was never used, so Hens and Cockerels took up residence in it, and the cock on a drum became a symbol of peace and contentment.
