Description A large pair of carved wood Japanese figures, both wearing elegant flowing robes, decorated with gold lacquer, and large geta (wood sandals) the man wears the two swords of the Samurai and holds an open fan, while the lady holds a closed fan and a hairpin.
From the collection of Lord Hesketh of Easton Neston, a relation of The Royal Family, Lord Hesketh visited Japan and amassed a collection of oriental antiques, provenance available.
