Description A Japanese lacquer inro in five sections decorated with a scenes of travellers making their way to a mountain top palace in which an Oni dances before nobles.
The bead is two sided, decorated with two grimacing faces, one silver metal, the other black lacquer.
The wood netsuke depicts a distressed Oni crying over the severed arm of Buddha.
